The form features a … Read more A handsome modern Ralph Lauren Italian "Lawson Upholstered Arm Chair" finished in rich dramatic black leather. The form features a tall, gently reclined rectangular back, upholstered arms, and a fitted loose boxed seat cushion with welted seams. The chair is finished in a deep and patinated leather over a beech frame with a desirable aged effect. The chair is raised on four square tapered black legs, the rear legs slightly sabered and the front legs straight. Each terminates in polished nickel ferrules with additional metal collar plates at the upper leg for a subtly modern Art Deco touch. The chair is well suited for use as a desk chair, lounge chair, library chair, or accent chair. Arms measure 24.5" tall. The soft leather has a lovely aged patina on the finish. The frame is sturdy with solid joinery and construction. Distinctive profile individually bench-made in Italy and finished in the U.S. by Theodore Alexander for Ralph Lauren with original order tags under seat.
