The monumental case measuring ten feet wide. The cabinet presents a long and broad form done in a refined pale blue gray lacquer finish. The oak case is topped by a pair of immense white Italian Carrara marble slabs having subtle grey and light gold toned veining inset into the top of the piece. The case is fronted by four large doors opening to shelved storage. The soft lacquer finish is sharply contrasted by dramatic extensive polished gilt brass hardware. The long horizontal buckle strapping has sophisticated geometric details with shaped drawer pulls, and corner mounts. The patinated brass hardware has a strong Neoclassical Greek key inspiration, blending Classical European influences with American mid-century modernist style to create a glamorous Hollywood Regency-flavored piece. The interior is functional with shelved side compartments, central storage, and upper drawers fitted with dividing trays for flatware or silver. The piece is stamped "Parzinger Originals" in an interior drawer. The case is supported by five decorative patinated brass turned disc feet. The case is very heavy with solid joinery and construction. The credenza is in exceptional condition as seen in photos with an impressive tidy fit and finish.
