This depicts an Asian porcelain or pottery vase in a vibrant blue green color with a dragon motif filled with colorful flowers. This is a bold color painting with texture to the paint and with a hand signature and calligraphy above it. It is dated 1994 and annotated NYC. Asian contemporary modernist pop art.
There is also an inscription on the back, where there is another oil painting, dated 1987. This is done in a folk art, expressionist style. The piece is not framed.
Mystery artist first name appears to be Chen, Chin or Chan and I cannot make out the last name but it might be Huang or something like that. Please see photos. This might be South Korean. See less
