This extremely rare wall lamp is a splendid example of Murano craftsmanship, an expression of the celebrated Mazzega style.

Subject and Style: The design is distinguished by an organic and enveloping "bow" or butterfly shape, composed of a thick, contoured glass plate. The aesthetic is enhanced by a deep, textured "bark" (or ice) finish and a magnificent color transition, from clear crystal at the edges to a warm, vibrant amber yellow in the center.

Material and Finish: The heavy diffuser is crafted entirely from fine Murano glass. The glass is firmly anchored to an elegant circular chrome-plated metal base, designed for wall mounting and featuring a central lamp holder.
