This is a Moritz Zdekauer hand painted and signed chcoolate pot in an unknown pattern. At least, I think it’s either hand painted, or hand detailed and it is signed as shown. The pot is small and white with a raspberry design with gold trim and a matching lid.
The chocolate pot measures 3.00 inches across the bottom and is 2.00 inches across the rim. It is just short of 5.00 inches tall and is 5.50 inches tall to the top fo the handle.
I am not sure of the painting as the leaves do not seem to be hand painted, but the grapes do. There is a white raised paint accenting the design and some gold trim that may also be hand done.
One feature I want to note is the handle. The handle is pointing down, but I am not sure why. I have searched the handle and I do not see any sign of a break or repair, but the downward point seems odd to me.
The pot is trimmed in gold and the lid is an exact match, although it seems a tiny bit too small. The pot is signed as shown in picture 2. The inside is clean with no staining or sign of use. There are no chips, cracks, or other damage. It is marked Hand Painted as shown.
