Exceptional and rare Vienna Secession sideboard or display cabinet designed and executed by Jacob & Josef Kohn, Vienna, circa 1904.

Executed in stained and polished beech and bentwood with brass fittings and a marble surface. The cabinet features an upper glazed section with shelves, a central open compartment, two drawers, and an extendable writing or serving shelf above the lower storage compartment.

Particularly striking are the highly decorative floral Secession panels to the lower doors, displaying an elegant combination of geometric and organic motifs characteristic of early 20th century Viennese design. These rare ornamental details give the piece an exceptional architectural presence and distinguish it from more common Kohn models.
