The bopla collection was introduced by the langenthal porcelain factory to create contemporary, artistically inspired porcelain, often in collaboration with illustrators and graphic designers. The encircling decorations feature a lively mix of ornamental elements, floral motifs, and figurative illustrations. These are complemented by romantic inscriptions such as "mon amour" or "je t’aime," making the set a charming tête-à-tête for lovers. A particularly distinctive feature is the wide 23.75-karat gold leaf band that encircles the cups, lending a warm depth to the richly colored illustrations.

the saucers echo the motifs of the cups, expanding them into large-scale, almost collage-like compositions.
