At 140 cm high, it commands attention without overwhelming a room; this intermediate size, between a sideboard and a wardrobe, is one of the most versatile pieces of antique country furniture.

materials: solid pine with a rich, deep grain, golden with age. The original wrought iron hardware is fully preserved: ornate escutcheons on the doors, metal knobs on the drawer pulls—details that testify to the care taken even in everyday furniture.

features: this antique sideboard is organized around a top drawer with a double knob, topped by a molded cornice, and a main body enclosed by two paneled doors. The turned ball feet, a hallmark of central european peasant furniture, anchor the piece with warmth. Inside, it offers two solid wood shelves and a small drawer. The doors lock.

restoration: the sideboard was repaired and then lightly sanded to remove grime while preserving its patina. It was then thoroughly cleaned and protected with a clear wax.
