Very rare modular "Perception" Cabinet System, 1992/1993
Ninaber/Peters/Krouwel
Manufactured by UMS-Pastoe, Utrecht
An extruded aluminum section has been developed with which long spans can be obtained without the shelves sagging. This makes the system flexible and transparent, with strong horizontal lines. A special elastic hinge intelligently allows the doors to open to 180 degrees, which changes the colors of the doors and the entire appearance.
The Perception cabinet is also part of MoMa’s (New York) permanent collection. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
