The frame is made of wood and features an artistic relief surface crafted from thin sheet metal with a silver plated finish.
Depicted upon it are two male figures, one female figure, trees, plants, and a rooster.
It is a lovely visual representation of the German idiom "Hahn im Korb" (The Rooster in the Basket).
This phrase signifies: A man who finds himself alone among several women, without any male competition.
