Original signed still life painting by Connecticut artist Nancy Greene, dated 1993. Titled All American Still Life, this colorful modernist composition features pears, pottery, books, and bottles rendered in expressive geometric brushwork and vibrant layered tones of cobalt blue, lavender, coral, olive, and cream.
This piece was exhibited as part of the artist’s posthumous retrospective at the Saltbox Gallery in West Hartford, Connecticut in 1996, and retains its original exhibition brochure and gallery labels on verso, adding to its provenance and collectible appeal.
Beautifully composed with strong postmodern and cubist influences, the painting works well in eclectic, contemporary, modern, or transitional interiors. Professionally framed under glass with a wide white mat and silver-toned metal frame.
