The body is decorated with figures among palms and flowering branches, with suspended lantern motifs at the corners. The domed lid carries figures in a landscape with foliate sprays, topped by a turned wood knob. The interior retains its original lead liner with an engraved octagonal lid and bone ball finial. Circa 1800-1840. See less
