A restored walnut executive desk from the Prelude collection by Ace Hi, produced in the United States in 1964.
The desk offers a large workspace constructed from solid walnut. The beveled edge lends a sense that the desktop floats above the case below. The relatively short legs on this piece make room for two full columns of drawers, with the drawer size increasing from row to row.
The top has been fully refinished while the rest of the piece has been lightly sanded and relacquered. Overall it shows beautifully with few imperfections remaining.
Aside from the date stamp, the desk is unmarked. The time frame of production, as well as the build, style, and hardware, are an exact match for Ace Hi's Prelude collection desk.
