This 18th century polychromed wooden Santos depicts the Christ Child holding a sparrow in one hand. He is missing the other hand. There is some paint chipping here and there, common with pieces so old. But, the paint that he retains is extremely beautiful! I especially love the little green and gold ruffled collar.
It is on wooden base- possibly an older replacement to the original, but well done.
It measures about 4” tall on the stand. The stand itself is 2" x 2".
