This is the cutest antique Matchsafe I have ever seen!!! This tiny brass box in the form of a pig has a striker on the belly. His head, hinged at the neck, opens for match storage inside. Some oxidation on his underside might indicate usage in the past. He's had a life! I love that. He's likely from the late 19th century, early 20th century. You won't find another one like him!
Measurements: tip to tail 2" long, 5/8" wide, 7/8" tall.
