The … Read more This vintage Italian marble coffee table features a sculptural square-octagonal silhouette carved entirely from richly veined Verde Alpi marble. The form feels substantial in scale with clipped corners, a thick floating top, and a monolithic pedestal base that grounds the piece with a strong architectural presence.

The marble surface shifts dramatically throughout, moving from deep forest tones to softer mineral greens with white and charcoal veining layered across the slab. Every angle reveals different movement within the stone, giving the table an almost landscape-like quality.

The pedestal base mirrors the top in both material and geometry, creating a clean, cohesive profile. Inside the base, remnants of original Italian newspaper remain visible beneath the support structure- an atmospheric construction detail that speaks to the table’s Italian manufacture and age.

Light vintage wear throughout. Structurally sound, cleaned, refreshed, and exceptionally well made.
