This piece of furniture is painted in atmospheric and traditional tones of blue and yellow. Striking are the romantically painted panels on the front, depicting mountain lakes and villages, while the rest of the chest is decorated with floral motifs. The original paintwork is weathered and worn in places, but predominantly well preserved. Thanks to its generous size, the chest is not only highly decorative but also offers ample storage space. The chest has been thoroughly inspected and professionally restored, with an eye for originality and character. The construction is solid, the painting is largely intact, and the patina has been preserved. Old, sporadically present traces of woodworm have been checked and treated. The ball feet were replaced in the past; the lock no longer functions but has little added value.
