Kekic did … Read more This is a majestic hand blown Pitcher from the Art Glass Studio of the noted glass-maker Nicholas Kekic. Kekic did make a lesser version of this exemplar for wider distribution. This one, upon which the lesser ones are based, has a more defined trumpet form, a more dramatic pour, a more distinguished applied clear handle and greater height and width than the commercial production. The Item is a dramatic 17" tall and 7-5/8" in diameter at the base. The angle of the pour is daring.. The Item is etched with the signature N. Kekic at base.

Its dramatic form and striking lime green / chartreuse color will draw every eye in the room towards it.

Nicholas Kekic is a third-generation glassmaker. His grandfather was an industrial glassmaker and his father was a founder of the American studio art glass movement. Within this family environment, Kekic's appreciation for handmade objects and the process of their creation was nurtured.

Kekic's designs capture the fluidity of glass and its unique relationship with light. Like takes great pride in making glass pieces that are beautiful and useful.
