Rare pair of Amsterdamse School twin beds attributed to Willem Penaat for Metz & Co., Amsterdam, dating from the 1920s. Crafted in solid oak with original black lacquered details and sculptural rounded forms characteristic of early Dutch Art Deco design. The beds display strong architectural proportions, expressive oak grain, and beautifully preserved original patina. An exceptional and uncommon surviving pair representative of the Amsterdamse School movement.
