Italian painting from the late 19th century. Artwork oil on canvas, first canvas, depicting an impressionist mountain view of excellent pictorial quality. This large, impactful painting is adorned with a modern, carved and gilded wood and plaster frame. This horizontally arranged painting offers a pleasing depth, ideal for antique dealers and interior decorators.
View of snow-capped mountains, embellished with grazing cows and a glimpse of a village with a small church (see photo). with a beautiful patina, the painting is signed lower right (see photo) G. Falchetti, attributed to Giuseppe Falchetti (1843-1918). Additional documentation is missing. This visually striking painting is a great addition to a living room or study. In good condition.
