Written … more 'Wallpapers of France 1800-1850' is a 1981 book featuring 600 examples of 19th Century French wallpaper. in full color. Written by Odile Nouvel, and published by Rizzoli, the wallpaper examples were drawn from collections held in The Museee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris, The Musee de L'Impression sur Etoffes in Mulhouse and the Bibliotheque Forney in Paris. The wallpapers are arranged by category, with different classifications, such as repeat designs, vertical, draperies and borders. Each example captioned in English, French and German. Also discussed, up front are manufacturing motifs, including satining, block-printing, gilding and flocks. At the end, a bibliography, a list of factories and designers. The 132-page hardcover, in dust jacket, is in very good vintage condition, as if unread. It is clean, bright and unmarked.This book can claim space in any interior or fashion designer's library - or set decorator's collection. The colors and patterns, found here, are ripe for resurfacing in contemporary art. This book will be sent, carefully packed, with tracking. less

- Chairish Express In-Home Delivery
- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.
