This one is veneered with attractive burr walnut and stands at coffee table height, which means that with both flaps raised it makes a great portable coffee table, along with the additional versatility of folding down the flaps fand tucking it away when not in use, taking up effectively no floor space whatsoever of consequence.

The term “Sutherland Table” is believed to originate from the first full size, non “baby” variants of these tables being named after The Duchess Of Sutherland, Mistress Of The Robes To Queen Victoria.

As with all items which we offer for sale this coffee table has been examined and attended to by our highly skilled, traditional antique furniture restorers and receievd a general clean, plus natural beeswax polish before being offered for sale.
