The edges of the folding top are accentuated with a decorative band.

The serpentine apron is decorated with floral marquetry, while the top is richly inlaid with strapwork and a central medallion featuring a floral bouquet. The top rotates by 90 degrees and opens, revealing a blue felt-lined interior.
