Petrified wood is a fossilized wood (from the same family as magnolia) dating back 20 million years. Silica replaced the wood fibers molecule by molecule, resulting in silicified wood. The slow fossilization process allows the tree's patterns to be distinguished. Petrified wood is a noble material, comparable to granite and precious stones. Beautiful, organic fossilized details of the wood add a touch of elegance. Height: 2.5 cm; Diameter: 25.5 cm; Weight: 1.3 kg. See less
