They work beautifully in both traditional and transitional interiors due to their balanced elegance and versatility in size (from scatters to large room or mansion formats).These rugs represent a pinnacle of Persian weaving tradition, blending technical excellence with timeless aesthetic appeal.Antique Persian Lavar Kerman rugs (also spelled Laver or Ravar Kerman) are among the finest and most elegant classical Persian carpets, originating from the Kerman province in southeastern Iran, particularly the town of Ravar.Typical patterns include intricate floral motifs, central medallions (single or multiple), elaborate borders, and sometimes all-over millefleur (thousand flowers), vase, tree-of-life, or pictorial elements. Colors are often rich yet refined, with ivory, soft reds, blues, and earth tones.The one that I am offering here, could be thr\e best example for what an antique Persian Lavar Kerman look like. There are two important thing that I need to mention about this rug. Usually, lavar Kermans have condition problem due to being almost 15o years old, many come with unraveling foundation threads, which must be restored by making a new foundation threads but this amazingly is in awesome shape, it does not have holes or showing foundation threads, foundation is very sturdy and it has low even flat pile from top to bottom with both ends intact. Secondly, as you see, this has all over pattern, majority come with a center medallion but all over ones are kind of difficult to find compared with the ones with a center medallion.
