* the cabinet consists of two parts. The upper, open cabinet section – the shelf unit – simply rests on the lower cabinet frame. Its own weight ensures the unit sits securely and stably on the lower frame.

condition
the item is in good, well-maintained vintage condition. It has been thoroughly cleaned and superficially treated with a high-quality finish. However, there are still some typical, deep-set signs of wear consistent with age on the oak wood surface.

these include occasional surface scratches, a few minor dents/nicks (mostly sharp-edged), and a few small areas of abrasion.

additionally, there are typical color variations due to age and use (these are particularly noticeable on the top shelf of the lower section when the upper section is removed – see photo above), as well as a very few tiny imperfections on the wood surface. These, too, are mostly sharp-edged and located in the lower area.
