Converted from a Chinese vase with a rich flambé glaze in layered violet, lavender and sky-blue tones, this early/mid 20th-century lamp features original Levolier 660W/250V twin sockets and a dark wood base finished in hand-rubbed tung oil.
The Qing/Republic vase was later adapted into a lamp and retains its period Levolier “patent applied for” twin-socket fixture and lever pulls. The lamp presents beautifully whether illuminated or not, balancing strong color with elegant form and authentic aged hardware. It’s ready for a new or vintage shade and finial. It would fit in with many home decors from classical, to arts and crafts, deco, MCM and contemporary.
Custom American-made lamp shade included.
