An uncommon walnut dining table with two leaf extensions by Dux, made in Sweden c. 1960s with design attributed to Folke Ohlsson. The table expands from a compact four seater into a 77” oval, accommodating up to 8 guests comfortably..
The tabletop rests on a set of smoothly sculpted legs which taper subtly from top to bottom. A recessed apron maximizes knee clearance and makes it table compatible with armchairs of almost any height.
The table itself is unmarked but by some miracle the original owners kept the assembly instructions, which refer to the piece as Dux Model 8154.
The tabletop, leaves, legs, and apron have all been refinished and show beautifully. The extension slides open smoothly. Overall the table is in fantastic restored condition with few signs of prior use.
