The stunning carrara marble tops with rounded ends over mahogany lined hand dovetailed frieze drawers fitted with decorative ormolu handles. The solid mahogany consoles with superb flamed satin wood inset panels. They are raised on elegant turned and tapering ormolu mounted legs, united by brass galleried undertiers. Of beautifully refined proportions and retaining excellent colour and patination. Provenance: southwick hall, oundle,northamptonshire the botanical name for the mahogany this item is made of is swietenia macrophylla and this type of mahogany is not subject to cites regulation. Condition: in excellent condition having been beautifully cleaned, polished and waxed in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation.
