The structure consists of blue, red, or translucent acrylic glass/glass panels forming three units, fitted with compartments and shelves, one of which rotates 360° on a ball-bearing system, allowing for a color scheme that can be changed at will.

This bookcase belongs to Jean Nouvel’s Compact series. It is a true collector’s item, as there is no reissue of this model, which was produced in a limited run that is now sold out.

Its modernist aesthetic, reminiscent of Mondrian’s color schemes and the experiments of the Bauhaus, gives it all the hallmarks of a design icon.
