Italian designer … Read more Majestic is a monumental luminous sculpture that reinterprets the charm of grand castle chandeliers in a contemporary key. Italian designer dario nasuti created a suspended architecture playing on the repetition of circles and the transparency of metal mesh. This piece is designed to command the space, fitting elegantly into both high-ceilinged classic halls and modern lofts with an industrial edge.

the process: three months of manual weaving
creating majestic requires an extraordinary commitment: three months of continuous labor in the parma workshop.

the structure: the frame consists of 5 calendered steel tubing rings of decreasing diameter, joined by invisible internal supports.

the preparation: thousands of threaded holes were drilled into each ring, where tiny hooks were screwed in to serve as anchors for the work.

the weaving: a complex web of large steel rings is manually intertwined one by one from these points. As an ornament, nasuti added sets of three smaller rings, creating a metal lace that scales in height and width.

powerful diffused light: the system features 4 lamp holders equipped with 10w led bulbs each, for a total power of 40w that radiates through the steel mesh, casting spectacular geometric shadows.

suspension engineering: the structure is supported by 4 high-strength steel cables, with electrical wiring managed cleanly via a professional multi-clip connector inside the rose.
