The cabinet has a compact horizontal form with two spacious drawers and five smaller drawers of varying sizes, making it highly practical for contemporary use while retaining its historical character.

Dimensions: height 42.5 cm, width 70 cm, depth 38.5 cm.

Over time, the wood has developed a deep, timeworn patina, with wear, discoloration and traces of use that give the surface a rich and lively appearance. The black metal handles, lock plates and side handles strengthen its sober Japanese character.

Thanks to its low format, this tansu works beautifully today not only as a storage piece, but also as a display surface for ikebana, bonsai, ceramics, books or a special object. It can also be used as an original side cabinet, low table or bedside piece in a warm, minimalist or wabi-sabi interior.
