This piece is distinguished by its rich ornamentation of finely chased gilt bronze: winged figures with trumpets on the side panels, applied female heads on the uprights, as well as exquisitely detailed keyhole escutcheons and decorative friezes. The central door is adorned with a bronze laurel wreath, typical of the decorative repertoire of the Empire period.

The projecting cornice emphasizes the architectural lines of the whole, resting on tapered legs ending in bronze sabots and claw feet, adding elegance and stability.

Beautiful warm patina on the mahogany, functional interior, the piece is in very good condition.

A high-quality piece, probably French, late 19th century, in the style of the First Empire.
