A rare and iconic "Faro" table lamp, designed by the visionary Massimo Iosa Ghini for the 1988 Memphis Milano collection. This lamp is a definitive masterpiece of Bolidismo, a design movement founded by Ghini that emphasized dynamism, streamlined curves, and a futuristic reimagining of Art Deco aesthetics. The Faro lamp features a striking, rocket-like silhouette. Its central body in satin anodized aluminum is suspended within a dramatic chrome-plated steel tripod structure. At the apex, a small circular glass disc diffuses the light, creating an ambient glow that emphasizes its sculptural form. This piece represents the evolution of Memphis from the colorful laminates of the early 80s toward a more sophisticated, "High-Tech" and aerodynamic luxury. As an original 1988 vintage piece, the Faro is a high-value item for serious collectors of Memphis Milano and avant-garde Italian design.
