A rare and iconic "Faro" table lamp, designed by the visionary Massimo Iosa Ghini for the 1988 Memphis Milano collection. This lamp is a definitive masterpiece of Bolidismo, a design movement founded by Ghini that emphasized dynamism, streamlined curves, and a futuristic reimagining of Art Deco aesthetics. The Faro lamp features a striking, rocket-like silhouette. Its central body in satin anodized aluminum is suspended within a dramatic chrome-plated steel tripod structure. At the apex, a small circular glass disc diffuses the light, creating an ambient glow that emphasizes its sculptural form.
