Striking vintage Kaizo Oto for Design Institute of America round coffee / cocktail table, circa 1990s. This sculptural postmodern table features a geometric mixed-metal base composed of black steel framing, brushed silver-tone rectangular supports, polished/brass-tone cylindrical elements, and circular ring accents beneath a round glass top.
The design has a strong architectural quality, with layered linear and circular forms visible through the glass. The mixed metals give the piece a dynamic, almost mechanical composition — reminiscent of clockwork, Art Deco geometry, and 1990s Memphis-era postmodern design.
