This is perfect for an … Read more A wonderful and unusually large oval tilt-top table with a satinwood inlaid Greek Key border. This is perfect for an extra dining table that can be folded down when needed! Made in England by Bevan Funnel Ltd. the impressive mahogany top is of great color and depth and is complemented by the expertly rendered Greek Key border that runs around the circumference of the table. A simple Sheraton-style design single pedestal supports the top with out-swept legs terminating in brass caster feet.
This piece was purchased new in the late 1990s from Bevan Funnel Ltd. and was part of their Stebbins Collection. There is a stamp that reads "Made in England" but the label indicating Bevan Funnel Ltd. is faded and illegible. This piece was used in our high-end interior design furniture showroom as a display piece and also as a center table in the showroom. Any small scratches, imperfections or fading are consistent with age and the table's use as a showroom display piece. Otherwise, it is in excellent condition.
The dimensions are: 71.5" high x 48.5" wide x 28.75" high (from the floor to the bottom of the table top is 27.5" high) See less
