Attributed to Gene Byron (Canadian 1910-1987) Modernest-Brutalist Candelabra circa 1960's. Mexican Tin Folk Art. Hand sculpted metalwork with pairs of detailed birds and branches appliquéd onto both sides of the Candelabra. The birds have add'l tiny detailed leaf appliqué on their wings! Great dimensional effect cool in the 1960's.
Measures 15" height, 9.5" width measuring across, the base is approx. 5.5' wide. Age appropriate wear from use & time. It has character! There is a missing leaf appliqué beneath the center light to note-3rd photo, beyond that there is nice natural age toning, scuffs, scratches, base underside oxidation, wax residue.
Please note: the marble base under the piece is for display purposes.
