An authentic piece with a strong character, it will bring warmth and depth to any interior.

materials: raw, tight-grained solid oak, patinated over time to a beautiful golden honey hue. Period wrought iron fittings.

features: the cabinet features two double doors, each composed of a glazed panel in the upper section, framed by a typically louis xv gendarme's hat arch, and a molded solid panel in the lower section. The pronounced cavetto cornice (which is retractable) crowns the piece with authority, while the scalloped apron at the bottom visually lightens the silhouette. The slightly curved legs confirm the influence of the rococo style. The sides are adorned with inset panels, simply molded. The spacious interior features three shelves. The door lock is functional.

renovation: this beautiful norman glass-fronted cabinet has undergone a lengthy and meticulous restoration. First, the two layers of fabric covering the interior were removed. It was then gently sanded to preserve its patina and treated against wood-boring insects. It has been intentionally left in its natural wood finish.
