features: this vintage chest rests on two slightly flared v-shaped legs at the front, characteristic of post-war reconstruction furniture. The three spacious drawers feature horizontally grooved slatted fronts, a decorative detail that adds rhythm to the front and testifies to the care taken in its construction. The rounded corners of the chest give the piece a soft and balanced silhouette. The drawers slide smoothly.

restoration: as the chest was painted, it was sanded to reveal the natural wood, then protected with a lightly tinted oil that highlights the wood's beautiful grain and honey color. It was also cleaned and washed.
