Made of plastic, metal, and glass, it originally emitted infrared radiation thanks to a filament that could reach approximately 2600°C. It was then used as a medical device for its heating properties.
This lamp retains its original bulb.
The metal structure, in a cream hue, has been carefully restored and re-lacquered in its original "sand white" color. The entire piece is in excellent condition, with no missing parts.

An example is held in the collections of the Centre Pompidou in Paris, Design Department.
The lamp is in working order. The wiring needs to be brought up to current standards for contemporary use, ideally with a modern, non-heating bulb for decorative purposes. Dimensions:
