An elegant 19th-century (1850-1880) table lamp, a refined example of the french neoclassical style. The pear-shaped base of fine glazed earthenware features a delicate blue-fired decoration depicting rocaille motifs: shells, festoons, and crowned coats of arms, reflecting heraldic prestige.
the gilt-bronze mount, composed of three massive claw feet, lends the lamp a majestic stability. The original cream-colored fabric shade is enhanced with sophisticated trim in shades of blue-gray and cream, featuring wavy ribbon and generous fringe. Base: h 36 cm, ø 16 cm. Shade: h 37 cm, ø 40 cm.
in satisfactory condition. Natural patina on the bronze; the original shade is well preserved despite slight signs of wear consistent with its age. A testament to the artisanal know-how of 19th-century french manufacturers.
