The design is to capture 2 dolphins leaping synchronized emerging from a wave. The verdigris patina is a beautiful addtion to the sculpure. Typically it is mounted from a bronze base set upon a wooden pedestal, or like this one on a bronze pedestal. This sculpture is solid bronze made in the 1980's and is 24" high by 29" long by 25" wide. It is a larger indoor piece that you will find. I found this at an estate sale in San Fransicso, CA.
