Professionally Restored with Knoll / Maharam Fabric
Original Knoll Tulip Swivel Stools Fully Restored with the
Knoll / Maharam MCM Revival Fabric - Striae Stripe “Fire”
This original set of four Knoll Swivel Tulip Stools were restored by Red Modern of Phoenix, Arizona. The full restoration includes complete striping and refinishing of the original base, full re-upholstery on the original wood seat with an original, period correct revival fabric, Knoll / Maraham Striae Stripe “Fire”, a limited release fabric based on Rugby, a 1955 design by Swedish textile designer Astride Sampeby. Two of the four stools have retained their original Knoll Madison Ave labels dating the set to the late 1950’s early 1960’s.
