We purchased this chair with many other pieces that were originally purchased by the owner in 1959. That date would work with an original. Hans Wegner chair. Many pieces of that time period were not marked. This has the joinery construction that we look for to be an original. We did have it reupholstered and found a stamped number on the frame in multiple locations. The arm pads and legs are teak. Upholstered in a soft nubby beige oatmeal color. There is new webbing under the seat cushion. The chair comes with an ottoman that is the right style but is not period. We had it upholstered to match. The ottoman frame is oak not teak. This chair is beyond comfortable! See less
