Rising upright from a dark granite base, the figure appears as a hybrid being, part human, part bird, part fish, still, watchful, and ethereal. Its elongated neck extends into a beak- and fish-like form; as an interspecies figure, it becomes an emblem of old legends.

The greenish-blue patina evokes water, time, and traces of transience. The rough, vibrant surface lends the figure depth and makes it seem as if it has sprung from a mythical moment.

Crafted using the traditional lost-wax casting technique (Cire Perdue), the work testifies to meticulous craftsmanship in every step, from casting and refining to chiseling and patination.
