Artist & Provenance
Bror Evert Färhm (1901–1971) was a Swedish painter born in Onslunda, Kristianstad County. He studied at Ystad Technical School (1915–1919), Landskrona Technical Vocational School (1919–1920), Althin’s Painting School in Stockholm (1921–1923), and the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (1924–1928), complemented by study trips to France.
He received the Ducal Medal in 1927 and exhibited with the Four Painters group, Skåne’s Art Association from 1932, and Helsingborg’s Art Association from 1938.
Färhm is represented in the Nationalmuseum, Helsingborg Museum, and Prince Eugen’s Waldemarsudde, and is best known for his evocative Skåne landscapes.
