The lamp belongs to a series known for its strict, geometric lines and has often been used in public buildings as well as sophisticated private residences to combine structure and glare-free light. The design is captivating thanks to its eponymous form: the trapezoidal, stepped louvers are finished in timeless white on the outside, giving the lamp a clean and understated presence. However, the design secret is only revealed when looking inside. The louvers are partially painted orange on the inside, creating a targeted light pattern. When the lamp is switched on, the light reflects off these colored surfaces, producing a particularly warm, golden glow without distorting the natural color rendering in the room. To seamlessly extend this internal color accent to the exterior, a matching orange textile cable was used.
