The ry20 highboard, designed by hans j. Wegner in the early 1950s for ry møbler, is a refined example of danish modern storage design. The upper cabinet is fitted with sliding doors that open to reveal adjustable shelving, while the lower section is composed of six well-proportioned drawers, offering generous and practical storage.
made from a combination of solid and veneered teak, the piece highlights the richness of the wood, with its warm tones and expressive grain. The overall design reflects wegner’s understated approach, where craftsmanship, clarity of form, and everyday functionality are brought into quiet balance. Neat condition with age-related signs of use.
