A pair of monumental wooden obelisks with paneled plinth bases and tall, tapered upper forms. At 75 inches in height, these function as architectural elements rather than tabletop objects. Each is constructed in two parts, with a 56 inch obelisk top resting on a 20 inch base. The join is stable and visually continuous when assembled, while allowing for easier handling and installation.
The geometry is clean and vertical, balanced by the weight of the base and subtle details including spherical feet and stepped construction. Unfinished wood surfaces reveal natural grain and tonal variation, adding warmth and depth to the otherwise structured form.
Designed to hold space. Best suited for floor placement where height and scale can be fully appreciated.
