Gigantic oversized head of Zeus. Originally from a bank in London and subsequently ending up in a collection in Italy. Made of plaster, presumably mid-to-late 20th century. Zeus is the supreme god in Greek mythology, ruler of the heavens, and father of gods and men. As the son of the Titans Cronus and Rhea, he rules from Mount Olympus. He is known as the god of lightning, thunder, the sky, and the enforcer of justice, order, and hospitality.
